Sustainable agriculture is based on an understanding of ecosystem services and seeks to protect and enhance these services.
There is often confusion between weather and climate. Weather refers to the atmospheric conditions over a short period of time, while climate is the average weather of a specific region over a long period of time. Climate change refers to any significant change in the measures of climate lasting for an extended period of time.
COP26 is the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and was held in Glasgow, Scotland, from October 31 to 12 November 2021. The conference will bring together world leaders, climate experts and campaigners to agree on a plan of action to tackle climate change.
